Why the Suffern column is empty. Lightcast publishes job postings and hires at county level and above only. Suffern here is a list of 200 ZIP codes, so its Demand section is suppressed. No radius or ZIP-based query will return it. Bergen, Rockland and Morris are counties, which is why they fill in.

Source & scope. Lightcast Q3 2026 data set (QCEW employees, non-QCEW employees, and self-employed) throughout, same 18 Colliers-curated industrial SOC codes in every column. Geographies: 200 ZIP codes within roughly 20 miles of 30 Dunnigan Drive, Suffern, NY; Bergen County, NJ (34003); Rockland County, NY (36087); Morris County, NJ (34027). These four do not add up and should not be summed. Bergen sits almost entirely inside the 200-ZIP Suffern set and so does most of Rockland, so the 91,306 figure already contains the 47,705 and the 8,589. Morris is the exception: only seven Morris ZIPs fall inside the Suffern set, so its 27,881 is effectively a separate pool. Blended figures in the footer row are Lightcast published totals for each geography, not an average of the rows above. Turnover figures are average monthly postings and hires for August 2025 to July 2026 from the Bergen County, Rockland County and Morris County Occupation Snapshots. The overlap caveat applies to those columns too: Bergen and Rockland postings and hires sit inside the same footprint and should be read side by side, never added.
